The Law Office of Janna M.Wallace has merged with The Law Office of Kathy A. Mercogliano and is now located at 7621 Purfoy Rd. in the heart of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and provides selected legal services to clients throughout the Triangle.

Janna M. Wallace

A native of North Carolina, Janna Wallace received both her undergraduate degree and law degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been in law practice for seven years and has maintained a solo practice in Fuquay-Varina since the spring of 2006. Prior to law school, she developed an interest in elder law during the four years she was a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist for the Department of Social Services. From this experience, she saw a strong need for the elderly to have caring and appropriate representation; this is when she decided to become a lawyer. She truly has a heart for people and is a strong advocate for issues relating to the elderly.

Today her practice is focused on:

• elder law
• estate planning, and
• Social Security disability.

She is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, and Kiwanis International.

Ms. Wallace enjoys spending time with her two sons, hiking and reading history.

Joy J. Williams

A lifelong resident of Eastern North Carolina, Joy is a Meredith College cum laude graduate in Business Administration and has a background in state government with the Department of Commerce.

An active member of Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church, school PTA, and leader of Children’s Discipleship Program, she is married with two children.
